STEFANIE HELD
From the beginning, my life has been immersed in the arts. As a child of a prolific and accomplished painter, my early years were spent accompanying my father to art school while my mother financially supported our family. As I grew up, I was surrounded by my father’s impassioned pursuit of the arts.
I attended the Art Institute of Boston, a college within Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts. My two passions in life are my paintings and my overwhelming mission to help people in need. Throughout my life, my intention of pursuing my artistic endeavors has taken many directions, which include working in the graphic art and design field for many prominent companies.
Creativity runs through my veins and influences most aspects of my life.
The style of my paintings ranges from realistic imagery to vibrant abstraction which always emphasizes elements of color and shape. Most often, they are done on a large scale. My commissioned paintings afford my clients the flexibility to choose size, color and style ranging from photo realism to pure abstract design.
My work has been shown at the Dallas Contemporary Museum, the Modartists Gallery, a juried show at the Art Hotel Gallery, the Zanadu Gallery catalog, the Prairie Dog Gallery, 8x8 show at the Museum of Biblical Art, Plaza of the Americas Gallery and featured artist in residence at the MJ & S Fine Art Gallery. I was chosen to exhibit in the “New Texas Talent” competition at the Craighead Green Gallery. A one woman show at the Aloft Hotel Gallery. My work has been prominently exhibited in the Gensler Architectural Firms lobby. In addition, many of my paintings hang in the homes of my patrons.
