My background as a sculptor and my love for working three dimensionally led me to create sculptural fused glass artwork using controlled kiln work. I enjoy being able to turn hard, flat sheets of glass into beautiful flowing forms and textures.
My Judaic artwork is an extension and expression of the beauty of my deep-seated heritage.
I taught glass and sculpture for five years at studios in Cedar Hill, Plano and Richardson before opening my own teaching studio in Richardson in 2009, where I teach weekly classes in fused glass and stained glass, and host art parties for individual and corporate groups.
In addition to teaching and creating, I work for and with a number of local arts organizations:
In 2014 I helped to create, and became a founding Board Member and Treasurer of Texas Jewish Arts Association, working to create a Jewish arts community in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. I served as President of the TJAA from 2017 to 2022. I am currently serving as TJAA webmaster since 2019, and as Membership since 2022 .
As a long-standing member of Texas Sculpture Association, I served as President in 2008 and 2009, and continue to produce the organization’s weekly newsletter;
