Virtual Gallery Tour with

TCU Contemporary Art Gallery
The Contemporary Art Gallery has an exciting new show that opens March 12 with artist Christie Blizard https://www.christieblizard.com/. She has written and filmed a new opera (with TCU art students as performers) for the center of her exhibition at our Fort Worth Contemporary Arts space. It is beautfully bonkers - - we filmed it in the Cowtown Coliseum and it includes alien figures, an hermaphrodite cow and animated Texas mythical figures of a tumbleweed, cactus and armadillo!

This is a link to all our digital exhibition materials: https://linktr.ee/LetMyBodyEattheSun. I encourage tour participants to watch Christie’s opera ahead of time if they can. It’s about 35 minutes. When we do the tour you will be able to see it as a projection in the background but we won’t have time to watch together. Also, it will give participants some time to digest and think of some questions to ask perhaps. |
