The Jewish Federation of Greater Dallas (JFGD) and the Texas Jewish Arts Association (TJAA) will be hosting an on-going series of exhibitions in the newly renovated JFGD building. During each exhibition, TJAA members’ 2-D and 3-D artwork will be on display and available for purchase for three months.

SHOW INFORMATION for the Curated Artwork Exhibition #1:
- Show Dates: September 1, 2021 to November 30, 2021
- Entry Fee : None. This is an exclusive member benefit which provides members an on-going exhibition and sales opportunity!
- Submission Deadline: August 12, 2021
- Selection Notification: August 25, 2021
- Location: Jewish Federation of Greater Dallas, 7800 Northaven Road, Dallas, TX 75231 (located next to the JCC of Dallas)
- Load-in: August 31 (11am - 3pm)
- Load-out: November 30 (11am - 3pm)
- Events: TJAA hopes to hold one reception, social, or educational function at the JFGD during each Exhibition period.
REQUIREMENTS AND SHOW DETAILS:
- Membership: TJAA membership required - If you are not already a member, Click Here to Join!
- Location: JFGD has designated specific areas within the building for placement of the artwork.
- Selection: Artwork will be curated and chosen based on:
- The submitted artwork fitting the allotted spaces; and
- The order in which applications are received.
- Theme: None. Artwork may be of a Judaic nature, but is not required.
- Artwork Restrictions: JFGD and/or TJAA reserve the right to refuse any work. Artwork cannot display any nudity or profanity.
- Works for Sale: This is a sales opportunity. All artwork is required to be available for purchase. Sales are to be conducted directly between artist and buyer. Sale proceeds go 100% to the artist. Neither JFGD or TJAA will receive a commission.
- Load-in and Load-out: Each artist is responsible for art work delivery and pick up at JFGD during the posted dates and times. Failure to do so may result in being barred from entering the next two exhibition cycles.
- Sold Artwork: Each artist is responsible for delivering sold artwork to purchaser.

- 2-D
- Dimensions: Maximum size for wall-hung work: 36” x 48”, framed and wired for hanging (no sawtooth hooks!)
- Weight: 35 lbs maximum
- 3-D:
- Dimensions: Work(s) must fit within the shelving case dimensions: 37.5” wide x 15” high x 8.5” deep. Four shelving cases with lighting are available for display of Artwork

LIABILITY:
- Each artist will be responsible for liability coverage on their artwork
- All reasonable care will be exercised with artwork; however, neither TJAA nor JFGD will be responsible for loss or damage
- Artists will be required to sign a waiver releasing JFGD and TJAA from all liability against any damage, loss or theft of artist’s artwork
