Exploring the paints, gels, mediums, and pastes Golden Acrylic Colors is the inventor of acrylic paint. This workshop, presented by artist and educator, Melanie M Brannan packs in a ton of valuable information about GOLDEN acrylics and guides participants through the basics while opening new possibilities. Learn the unique properties of Fluids, Heavy Body, OPEN and High Flow Acrylics. Discover Interference and Iridescent paints for unusual effects. Get an overview on the many Gels and Mediums and how they can change texture, saturation, and intensity of color. We will work on a few example boards to explore the products. |

Please arrive 20 minutes prior to get your seat and apron on. Instruction starts promptly at 12:15. All participants must have a reservation through Eventbrite.
Melanie has painted exclusively with GOLDEN Artists Colors for 14 years. In 2017, GOLDEN trained her to become a certified educator for their amazing line of paints, pastes, and gels. She joined this elite group of 200 international artists to become the North Texas educator for GOLDEN. Melanie shows her work locally, nationally, and in corporate and private collections across the U.S. and abroad.
